1960s Kay Swingmaster K672 Hollowbody Electric Guitar STRIPPED FINISH

This guitar has a lot of cosmetic flaws and swapped parts but the bones are all there and currenty playable with decently low action. Feel free to ask questions and request photos!

• Has been setup, restrung, and tested. Everything functions as it should.

Condition

• Has wear and scratches all throughout from being played. Overall in Fair Condition.
• Entire body, neck, and headstock have had the paint stripped off. Was originally painted with a Sunburst finish.
• Has original Barney Kessel Pickups in good working condition.
• Has original Pickup rings. Slightly cracked around screws but still in good condition.
• Has original tailpiece. This model had two types of tailpieces (from different years of manufacture I'm assuming). This one was less common but still on plenty of K672 I found online.
• Has original Kay Truss rod plate with the Kay logo with the music stand.
• Has original Neck screws and washers.
• Original Kay logo has been stripped off but the outline of the logo is still very prevalent.
• Neck is shimmed with what appears to be a thin piece of wood.
• Missing the Pickguard and mounting bracket.
• Body binding is cracked and missing in a few places. Most notably half the entire bottom back edge of the body is missing binding (as seen in photos).
• Small piece of fretboard binding on very end of fretboard on treble side is chipped off and missing.
• F-Hole by the switch has a crack in the laminate layer and the bottom corner is chipped.
• Tuners have been swapped. Has multiple screw holes in back of neck from previous sets of tuners.
• All 4 Knobs have been swapped.
• Tailpiece is not original.
• Switch and pots are possibly swapped but not sure.
• Input jack and jack plate are swapped. Jack plate is a homemade thin sheet of aluminum.
• Has light fret wear on the first 4 frets.
