Description

This is the Fender Limited Edition Player II Telecaster in Charcoal Frost Metallic, and it's built for players who want the versatility of a Tele with just a bit more horsepower. Great for intermediate to gigging musicians, this version stands apart from the regular Player II models with a roasted maple neck and fretboard, plus a set of Custom Shop Texas Special pickups-one single-coil and one humbucker-giving you more tonal range without losing that unmistakable Tele flavor.

The alder body and modern "C" roasted maple neck make this one comfortable and responsive. You get a 9.5" radius and 22 medium jumbo frets, so bends feel smooth and chords stay clean across the neck. The pickups are really where this one punches above its weight-Texas Specials are hotter and more mid-focused than standard Player pickups, and pairing that unmistakable single-coil sound in the bridge with a humbucker in the neck makes this Tele far more versatile than you'd expect. Whether you're after classic twang, gritty blues, or heavier rock tones, this one's got it covered.

It feels solid without being heavy, and the satin finish on the back of the neck makes longer sets or sessions a breeze. The 6-saddle bridge with block steel saddles gives better intonation and sustain than the older ashtray style, and the ClassicGear tuners keep everything locked in and smooth. They're one of the more flexible Player II models we've seen yet.
